Meet our Tutors

At Bradford Active Dance, our tutors are the heart of everything we do. Each one brings passion, creativity, and a deep understanding of the communities we serve. Reflecting the diversity of Bradford, our team creates inclusive, inspiring spaces where young people can move, express themselves, and grow with confidence.

Hi, I’m Rachel – one of the directors here at Bradford Active Dance (B.A.D)!

I’ve loved dance since I was little, and that passion has stayed with me all the way through to studying it at university, where I completed a BA in Dance and a Masters in Choreography.

For over 11 years, I’ve been teaching dance in communities and schools, working with an amazing mix of people – from young children and their families to older adults, including those in SEND settings and people living with dementia. I feel incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to share dance with so many different individuals.

I’m Mia! I have graduated university with a Professional and Commercial Dance Degree and have been teaching a range of different age groups since!

I love teaching the next generation to build their confidence and creativity through dance in a fun inspiring manor. I hope I can provide you high quality dance sessions covering a range of styles such as jazz, commercial, contemporary and ballet to increase your skills and have fun.

In my spare time I love to read and take dances for my own training.

Hi my name is Stefian, I’ve been teaching for over 15 years. Dance is basically my life. I’m all about providing experience & cultural exchange with dance.

Hello I’m Reena, I love dance because it’s fun, freeing, and a powerful way to express yourself. I especially enjoy working with kids — they’re full of energy, always bring a smile, and make every day different.

It is incredibly rewarding and can be challenging at times, but seeing children grow in confidence, creativity, and joy makes it all worth it.

I first dancing at the age of 3, training in Ballet, Tap & Jazz. At the age of 16 I was lucky enough be accepted into Phoenix Dance Youth Academy training in Contemporary. I then went on to study at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks and after graduating I have worked as a professional dancer. I now teach children and adults in various primary schools and community centres and hope to be able to pass on my knowledge of dance.

When I’m not teaching I enjoy running, gym and going to reformer Pilates.
